Furikake


Ingredients

Main:
20g bonito flakes, leftover from dashi 30g toasted sesame seeds 10g fresh spinach 1 sheet nori
Seasonings:
1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp rice vinegar 1 tbsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Dice spinach thinly. If using japanese spinach, remove the middle stem.
  2. Mix seasonings in a bowl and microwave for 15 seconds to dissolve sugar.
  3. Slowly drizzle seasonings over bonito flakes, spinach and sesame seeds. Mix well with chopsticks.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchement paper. Spread mixture in a thin layer. Bake on 250F for about 20 minutes, stirring halfway through. Make sure it's completely dry.
  5. Slice the nori thinly and mix.
